Please vote for the proposed City of Houston ordinance to prohibit the commercial, business use of attention-getting devices. They lend a garish appearance to our entire city. In addition, our retail and commercial areas are not separated from our neighborhoods, so anything that improves business visual clutter also has an immediate, positive effect on all our neighborhoods. So long as the prohibition is across the board and treats all businesses equally, everyone is on a level playing field. Please vote Yes to ban attention-getting devices. Thank you.
