Owner, Kelsey Commercial Real Estate Services Mavis grew up in a house designed by the late Ralph Anderson, the founder of Billboards, Ltd. - the predecessor of Scenic Houston. Mavis’ mother, Mary, was a supporter of Billboards, Ltd. when Ralph started it in the early sixties. Two decades later, Mavis became a board member of Billboards, Ltd. and subsequently served on the boards of both Scenic Houston and Scenic Texas. Mavis and his brothers gave a 540-acre conservation easement on their family ranch to the Legacy Land Trust in 1996, and Mavis is an active supporter of the Katy Prairie Conservancy. Mavis also serves on the boards of the Memorial Park Conservancy, Fotofest, and the advisory board of Houston Audubon.
