George Y. Gonzalez

A graduate of Rice University and Harvard Law School, George practices general corporate law with an emphasis in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate matters, securities, private company business issues and international practice issues. He has published or presented articles on subjects such as the intellectual property provisions of NAFTA and the manner in which a foreign corporation may list securities on a U.S. stock exchange.

George is a member of the Board of directors of the Houston Hispanic Bar Association, Past Co-Chair of the HBA/Monterrey Lawyer Exchange Committee (Program/Brochure Committee), Past Director of the Mexican Cultural Institute of Houston and Supervisor Director of the World Trade Division of the Greater Houston Partnership. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Houston Bar Association.
